my car is basically new with this upgrade - easy installation according to my boyfriend and currently thinking about getting the camera add ons just because the “no signal” and music turning off every time i go in reverse bothers me but other than that i love this product so far.
still figuring it out!!

The installing is a little tricky if you don’t have a screen already, having to cut into your dashboard takes some time to do it right but it came out with great result!

I took a bit of time to make sure i would cut in to the dash perfectly and it worked out, the rest is pretty easy and it works perfectly!

If you download apps on your phone most will transfer on to the screen aswell as soon as you connect.

I reccomend it becuase it works great does not have allot of delay and the customer support is also really good if you have any question.

This is a great option as a step up from normal car play units. With this one you can stream Netflix, Amazon prime, etc and it has the app store / play store to download wanted apps. Integration with idrive is seamless. It respomds quickly to inputs with no noticeable lag. It has the option for a sim card as it's own source of internet if you don't want to use your phone as a hot spot for browsing, downloading apps etc.

I did have to update the factory settings for the screen for it to display the idrive properly. Andream was responsive and provided the pass code to edit factory settings. Screen looks modern and clean like it could have come from the factory that way. It levels up the dated stock screen to look much more modern. I chose this over their other standard car play/ android auto unit because this one is much more capable and more on par with more recent tech.

I had broken the connector of the screen which I purchased sometime back. Needed a quick replacement and so contacted them.. was able to quickly get what I needed and within a week the connector was in my hand. Thank you for quick response and will surely recommend this supplier.

I've been using this little box for a few weeks now and I can only say it's great. I tested many, but only this one satisfied me. Something always bothered me about the other boxes. Crashes, lags or the like. But everything works great with the box. She starts quickly. Runs smoothly. Everything perfect. Installation super easy. Plug it in, connect via Bluetooth and you're done.

I have installed it myself, the most difficult thing, disassembling the parts of the car to remove the equipment, the plate is easy to install following a tutorial, the operation is perfect, you can have everything original and switch to CarPlay, at any time by pressing a button, very good sound, overall very good

Extremely fast shipping, no instructions however installation was pretty easy to me. YouTube is good for DIY if you need help! I wanted the factory size look and the andream screen looks oem!

Had the MMI andream car play for my F30 335i but my oem screen had imperfection internally so I went with the whole screen replacement!

When I first installed it and got it working, the CIC menu was not fitting the screen correctly like a zoomed look and had a split screen. I messaged the company and they’re very fast with responding and helping fix the issue. All I had to do is go to settings, factory reset, change the model and screen size and the image is perfect now! Definitely worth its price!

So to start I was a little skeptical but ordered from China anyway. Shipped out pretty quick. When it arrived open box to find screen and wiring but no paperwork whatsoever no schematic drawing nothing. Was kind of distressing to receive this without any directions whatsoever good thing was that you could look on YouTube to find other people installing similar products if it wasn't for that it would have been very sketchy. This assembly and install we're not very hard luckily but when I went to turn everything on everything worked perfectly I assumed that it had to be wired for the Android auto to work so I was absolutely delighted to find out that when I unplugged it it was wireless Android auto and worked flawlessly. It takes a few seconds at startup for it to go straight into Android auto which I was amazed to see wirelessly. I also have an iPhone and it worked flawlessly also. Only thing was it didn't have drawing so I had to wire the backup camera in unsured of the correct wire but it did work perfectly as it is a purple wire like most all other stereos. Haven't found anything that didn't work all the buttons on the steering wheel work but you really don't even need them except for volume which works great. The only thing that this needed was paperwork but if you can do it without the paperwork go for it because it is awesome

Was easy to install and get working! The instructions were a bit sparse but the team was more than helpful in getting me enough to get it going. There seems to be some ways to get some items working a bit more in tune with the car like the back up camera and the steering wheel controls, but I haven't ventured down that path just yet. That would be the only caveat to this being perfect for what I needed.

For the most part CarPlay works but steering control buttons for phone and voice commands don’t work. Also the screen feels laggy and streaming music on CarPlay is running 8-10 secs behind the actual phone audio.
I also not been able to find way to increase the brightness of the screen nor change the boot/startup logo.

FYI - I don’t have the optical cable on car and cannot use the OEM Bluetooth along with screen built in Bluetooth.
